But it isn't just about that, sure getting heel heat like that is one part of it, but the other side is that fans are more involved in a wrestling match if they believe that both men have a fairly even chance to win, and at this point going into the PPV not enough people believe that R-Truth has a chance of winning the title.

Really? Because people wanted to see Jerry Lawler beat the shit out of Michael Cole just off Cole's heat alone. No one acted like Cole had a chance.

Again back to Cena, no one believed he was going to lose to Sheamus. But look what happened there. This is just the type of show that WWE likes to do something unnexpected because they know the ending seems too predictable.

You can't compare this to Cole and Lawler, Cole is an annoncer who had never wrestled a day in his life. As for your other point the Sheamus lose was a rare one for Cena, and it was not a good shock.

R-Truth is also a ten year veteran who never got his shot. And will do all he can to prove that he deserves to where he is. Not hard to book a feud like this.
