Re: NBA Regular Season Discussion Thread

Oh well it sucks to be OJ. I can't believe he was using and sucking. At least when Shard used he played better for fucks sake.

Oh I don't agree with Reke being in it as he is probably only in there the same reason Fisher is (due to it being in Cali) just Fisher stands out to me because while yeah he is a good role player the man ain't known for his skills. If he's gonna be in anything just stick him in the 3 point shooting contest.

Put his ass in shooting stars as him in the 3pt contest would be so different since he is the type of guy who uses a rhythm dribble to start off shooting and then works his way to catch and shoot

2 Lakers will make the ASG at the least and if there is only 2, Pau getting in over Lamar Odom is a fucking travesty this year

Lamar has been the Laker by far for the season as a whole. Pau had a good first three weeks and LO was the second best player. Then Kobe got back to being Kobe, LO stayed second best, and Pau fell off and only now is getting back.

If Kevin Love doesn't make it, that would be the biggest snub of all time.

Re: NBA Regular Season Discussion Thread

Complaining about all-star game selections is the only thing less productive than complaining about who should win the end-of-year awards.

Love is basically my pretend-boyfriend, and even I don't think it's that terrible a snub. He gets rebounds on that team because nobody else will, and he doesn't play defense.

As my good pal Charles Barkley said, "Its not the lifetime achievement award".Duncan will make it at 14 and 10, guarantee Love would do that and better on the Spurs. Love absolutely belongs.

Derek Fisher is arguably the worst starter in the NBA. He really needs to fuck off and die already.

Record should not matter. it is an individual accomplishment not a team award. Yes his defense does suck I cant argue that.

Re: NBA Regular Season Discussion Thread

I guess it's easier for Psych to just look at a team's record and not bother to actually think about a player's contribution to his team.

Duncan might go in as as the starting C. It is Pop's choice after all. And he is a much better post defender, which is what the West would need if they actually cared about winning.

Wrong, Stern names the 5th starter.

I'm confused.

Coaches pick 7 reserves. Stern selects any injury replacement. Pop names starter after Stern decides under league rules.

David Stern names Yao's replacement. Pretty dumb, I agree though.
