WWE WrestleMania XXVI - Rey Mysterio vs. CM Punk (w/Luke Gallows & Serena)

Punk's G.I. Joe attire is my FAVORITE Punk attire of all time. Punk for WWE to give them 6 and a half minutes is SILLY, Stupid, Blue..... but they packed a lot of action in those six and a half minutes. I remember LEGIT wanting to riot when this was ended mainly cause I wanted Punk to win and 2. SIX AND A HALF MINUTES. Thankfully these two were given more time on weekly TV and the next 2 PPV's. Oh but get this Vince who is in his 60's and Bret who cannot take bumps got 11/12 minutes :lmao ***1/4

WWE WrestleMania XXVI - World Heavyweight Championship: Chris Jericho vs. Edge

Edge returned from injury and won the Rumble in January. He immediately targeted his former Tag Team Championship Partner Chris Jericho once he won the World Title at Elimination Chamber. Not only is Jericho out first as champion, but he doesn't even get all the way down the ramp before his music is cut off and Edge’s starts. :lmao I really don't get why people shit on this, sure the crowd was dead but they just had to sit through a 11 minute Bret/Vince match. They used counters, nearfalls and submissions to tease the finish. They did a great job of starting slow, picking up the pace and then finishing with a bang. I loved that Edge sold the leg injury while getting up to receive the Codebreaker. Damn fun match. **** - ****1/4

WWE WrestleMania XXVI - WWE Championship: Batista vs. John Cena

Batista’s spotlight entrance is awesome even if the champ is heading to the ring first again. Cena’s WrestleMania entrance this year involves the US Air Force Honor Guard Drill Team tossing around guns. These two have chemistry together and they delivered on the big stage as most expected. This still seemed a little short to me, but the story was solid with Batista targeting the neck. This was a very solid power match and the crowd was with them from the start. I Loved the final sequence with all the reversals and kickouts. I just wish they had more time to set it up. ***3/4

WWE WrestleMania XXVI - WWE Wrestlemania XXVI - The Streak vs. The Career: The Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels

I still like the WM XXV better, but this is a still fanfuckingtastic match with prob the best finish to a WM match in history. I loved the story of Taker injuring the knee early and selling it throughout he also changed his game-plan a little. They played off some spots from the previous year and even took some of what Michaels/Flair did just 2 years ago, with the “I’m Sorry, I Love You,” Shawn slapping Taker just before having his career ended was perfect. After the match Taker celebrates but helps Shawn to his feet and offers a handshake. They embrace before Taker leaves Shawn to the ring and the fans. The crowd gives Shawn the ovation he deserves as tears run down his face. He says goodbye to the fans as the ovation grows louder, and it was one of the most emotional moments in wrestling history. ****3/4

WCW Nitro 09/04/1995 - WCW United States Championship Match: Sting vs. Ric Flair

Nothing special and got really repetitive at times, but a fine match for TV, the crowd was super into it thought but i guess it would be hard not to be when it's Flair/Sting and they also played into the Fall brawl match with Arn vs. Flair. **

WCW Nitro 02/12/1996 - Hulk Hogan vs. Arn Anderson

Hogan was still in the red and yellow here. They didn't do much for 9 minutes, Arn's heel work on Hulk's injured eye was okay but Hulk basically no sold it. Hell until Flair came down this whole thing was kinda meh. Arn's bumping in this was awesome though, and ARN going over MARK. **1/4 Post Match: Randy Savage runs down to clear the ring of the Horsemen. Okerlund gets in the ring with the Mega Powers for an interview while Flair and Arn head over to the announce table. Flair rips off Bischoff’s headset and brags about destroying Hulkamania AGAIN. Arn says he beat Hogan once, and he can do it again. That’s when the Mega Powers give up on their in-ring interview and chase the Horsemen and Bobby Heenan away from the announce table. Hogan accepts the rematch with Arn while Savage can’t wait for his title rematch with Flair next week.

WCW Nitro 03/11/1996 - The Steiner Brothers vs. The Road Warriors

Fun match even if the finish was a little silly. No idea why the faces cheats but i guess that's WCW for ya. The match was a lot of fun, and is one of the better tag matches we’ll ever see on Nitro. However, the no selling or lack of selling from Hawk and Animal did get annoying. ***

WCW Nitro 05/06/1996 - Jushin "Thunder" Liger vs. Dean"The Man If 1,000 Holds" Malenko

Really good match it's just ashame Malenko legwork didn't go anywhere, and WCW just booked the match so Liger could get all his shit in with very little psychology. Oh and 6 minutes is clearly not enough time for Liger to get all his shit in. **1/2

WCW Nitro 09/16/1996 - WCW Cruiserweight Championship: Rey Mysterio vs. Juventud Guerrera

Great little 6 minute spotfest match showing which division was the real workers in the company. I would of enjoyed this more if wasn't for all the distractions (a commercial break, cutting out to the parking lot. Hell the announcers talked more about what's happening with the NWO, FAKE STING! than the match) ***

WCW Nitro 12/09/1996 - WCW United States Championship Tournament Quarter Finals: Diamond Dallas Page vs. Jeff Jarrett

If i remember correctly Luger and ARN went to a double countout, the winner of this match goes to the finals at Starrcade. This one was kinda weird as Bobby and Tony kept saying DDP is this bad guy cause they think he's gonna join NWO but Jarrett controls the match to set up the comeback, but then again this was just a couple of shows before Page's face turn. **1/2

WCW Nitro 06/02/1997 - Ric Flair vs. Scott Hall

This was a damn good match here and Flair was bumping to make Hall look like a legit main eventer and Hall was full game here too. I find two things that depress me. Scott Hall looks horrible today due to all of his issues, and it is sad because he looks like such a star here. Also, Flair's hair used to be awesome and today it is a sad sight. ***1/4

WWE Extreme Rules 2010 - CM Punk's Hair on the Line: Rey Mysterio vs. CM Punk

Not as fantastic as their Over the Limit match, but these two have great chemistry. And put on a good show, complete with some well-coordinated maneuvers and dives, and some sleek submission moves. The match great action, great story, the drama of Punk's hair on the line, the feel-good moment of the Straight Edge Society getting ejected from ringside, and the mystery of the masked attacker that costing Rey the match. ***1/2 - ***3/4 One thing i loved was that Punk busted out the Hilo and the Gory Special in attempts to beat Rey showing tribute to Eddie. and the series of matches he's had with Rey. Oh and Punk's post match celebration relaxing in the barber’s chair to mock Rey, Was great.

WWE Extreme Rules 2010 - Extreme Rules Match for the World Heavyweight Championship: Champion Jack Swagger vs. Randy Orton

Pretty good match considering if you've seen one hardcore match you've seen them all at this point. I liked how they showed Swagger’s inexperience in brawling while Orton EXCELS in these type of matches. And yet, Swagger stuck to what he knew and still won the match. Plus i did like that WWE gave Swagger that good clean win over a big name star, just a shame they did nothing with it. **3/4
