Now that Impact is doing their own empty Arena Shows I wonder what is the plan for Impact going forward. You guys might be wondering what are you talking about hoho right? Welp Eddie Edwards, Tessa Blanchard, and The North were not at the Rebellion Part 1 Show and it seemed like they won't be defending the Titles anytime soon because of the Coronavirus keeping them from leaving. We have a major problem now because you had before the Coronavirus big plans for the Tag Champions and World Champion, and now that you can't use them does that mean now we get them being stripped of their Titles? I mean Impact could get creative Impact even this Week didn't really give info on what they are going to do, but clearly Elgin wants the Impact World Title and he deserves it. I just wonder how you get to that point, and if we will see Tessa, The North, or Edwards anytime soon because them off of TV for some time could hurt majorly for sure.

I would say crowning interim champs is the way to go if Tessa and The North can't make it to tapings. If there's a chance they'll be available for the next special/PPV, then I think that's fine, maybe you can keep it on them. You can even do a storyline where Elgin is furious that they won't strip Tessa and doesn't want to wait until she comes back to face her or whatever. Tessa can still film promos from her house or whatever so that would be something you can work with. But yeah, if they're not gonna be able to make it to the next big event, you definitely have to crown some interim champs to hold things down.

That would be seriously disappointing if Tessa’s reign ends like this. Just film segments from her home.

It shouldn’t be too much longer. Next PPV at most.

This - not only does it allow the promotion to go onwards with "champions" on TV but it sets up the inevitable "undisputed" title matches between the actual champs and the interim champs when the actual champs can get back to tapings. If it goes on for a while and they give the interim champs a dominant run then the eventual undisputed championship match feels even bigger. There's no negative from doing this, but there is a negative to stripping champions of titles. - Even WWE, who are typically the ones to think most inside the box (i.e we just need a champ on tv, strip them, crown a new one and people will forget), are doing this to cover Devlins absence from NXT. It's the best way forwards.

I do think the best move during this is to either leave the belt on people or crown interim champs like WWE is doing with the Cruiserweight title. Vacating the title under these circumstances just feels really shitty so at least the interim champ stuff leaves the door open for nice champion vs "champion" fights like the UFC would do even if it makes title lineages fuckin' confusing

Yup from the Segment Elgin had this Week hearing the news and how he's acted on Social Media that seems like the direction it could go. I could always go with him becoming Impact World Title Champion next Week though and them wanting to still have a Title Match for the audience, but I don't know who do you put in that spot for the Championship vs Elgin who is strong and with momentum. I know Moose was talking about a big announcement next Week so who's to say he doesn't get the spot vs Elgin.

Seems logical. Elgin is a great choice for Champion, he's exactly the guy I would go to now that Sami and Tessa have had their turn. As long as he faces Tessa when she returns to determine an undisputed champ, I'm all for it.
