Tuesday, Cole reached out to Schmidt, who noted he is considering a suit.

Schmidt said in a post-Raw interview that he did not touch Punk before Punk struck him, was "a little upset with Punk," and was mainly "just shocked about how his night of entertainment ended with him getting smacked on live TV."

Oh joy people have convinced him to be a money whore about it. First off he did touch him it's on video not in the original in manner as thought but he did touch him so one could see why punk retaliated. Secondly it wasn't on TV so your public embarrassment not so much the WWEs fault as the guy illegally obtaining video at the event.

I could have sworn it was on live TV. But regardless, countless videos are up, so he can't really do shit. He touched Punk.

Bully Ray on Punk Bitch slapping fan, Hogan chokeslams Shaq

- The Buckethead Show on Real Radio 104.1 in Orlando, FL conducted an interview with TNA star Bully Ray, who was promoting this Sunday's Bound For Glory pay-per-view. During the interview, Bully Ray discussed WWE Champion CM Punk hitting a fan at RAW this past Monday night.
"It was an unfortunate accident," said Bully Ray. "It was a heat of the moment-type thing. It's happened many times before. It really was an accident, I'm glad that the fan realizes that it wasn't meant for him. It just happens, it's really not that big of a deal. Nobody got hurt."
Bully is right, it happened many times before, Jericho is the most recent one I can truly think of. Shit happens.

His retaliation to that fan wasn't shown he shoved a different fan whose in the video shoving him before the slap during the slap they cut to McMahon in the ring.

This is dumb because in cases like these you need to have actually suffered injury. So this is not gonna be an easy case for him and would be better off trying to get something out of court from WWE even though he should just move on since it was a heat of the moment situation where he didn't get hurt.

It always stems from idiotic fans who can't separate Reality and Wrestling, It really isn't that big of a deal but Punk is lucky he didn't injure the guy because it could be a different ball game completely.

Honestly, the dude is at fault, well not completely, but he did kind of hit Punk in the back of the head.

A bunch of people were punching Punk in the fucking ribs Punk shouldn't be punished for retaliting he should be praised, yes he got the wrong person that was bad luck and I am sure he will apologize about it but the guy who was hitting him and admitted it on Twitter for all to see should be charged with assault.

You poke a lion with a fucking stick, and it will bite you. This douchebag and his lawsuit are a joke. He and the dude behind him were fucking with Punk, and Punk swung at the first motherfucker he saw like any man would in that situation. Especially a fucking professional wrestler, the champ, in a crowd of strangers all trying to touch you and fuck with you? Punk should have hit him a few more times.

Fan had it coming. If you fucking punch a wrestler---or any guy with the height and built like Punk's, expect to be decked. You can't blame Punk for retaliating. He should've decked everyone who threw a punch at him.

It was a stupid thing for Punk to do but I can't really blame him for doing it, you are always going to protect yourself. What I want to know is where the security were, they are supposed to keep the fans away from the wrestlers to stop situations like this. They will give the guy some free stuff and he will be fine
