Im just setting up this thread so we can discuss any happenings in this seasons Champions League.

Obviously the odds on favour to win is Barcelona which was followed by United but now everyones jumping on the City bandwagon the odds have changed. I personally think Real Madrid will go far in this tournament.

Manchester United have been shocking all season, can't even beat Crystal Palace and now losing to Basel who actually performed a FUCK load better than Manchester United.

Sir Alex Ferguson's time is up and the glory days of Manchester United are no more.

LMAO, bye bye United but Andrew, I gotta say that's a complete fuck up what you've just said. Alex Ferguson is the best manager in the world to date and has been for the past 20 years. The things he has done with United. I hate the guy but he just won the League last year and now due to a couple of bad results you say his time is up? Completely wrong imo.

He isn't playing Berbatov... His time is up, yes he has been there for 20 years but he's nearing retirement.

There's no chemistry in the side anymore, if you look at us last year it was great but now... No Berbatov, just a bunch of new kids who haven't got the full experience. Yes, play them but get them involved in the chemistry first.

Really pissed off Rooney hogs the ball so much, Evra does a lot of work but there's nobody to support him leading forward. Ji Sung Park is alright but Berbatov on the pitch any day!

Berbatov can play well... hardly used these days...

Waste of money I reckon.

Where as City buys a lot of their players and ACTUALLY uses them...

Eh, EPL is just money-grabbing... It's all waste. Remember Chelsea's big fuck off spree? Didn't go to plan and they keep being stuck around 4th n 5th...

Holy fuck, this is the best news I've heard in a long time!

I think every team that has qualified for the next round of the Champions League has dodged a bullet with City crashing out, but fucking LOL about Man Utd. They have been scrapping together 1-0 wins against average Premier League teams, but when it comes to Europe they only won 2 matches. On that form, you don't deserve to go through.

I agree with that comment there.

Aniking is talking sense. United have put in one performance they can be proud of since their game against Arsenal, and that was the draw at Newcastle. Every other game since the arsenal game they have been poor. Ferdinand needs to go, he was awful two seasons ago. A midfielder that can hold the ball would be needed too. I don't know if its Fergies time to go. But odd decisions and inconsistency is creeping in big time.

Man City played well last night.

City will go far next year but it's early for them yet,

Nice to see United gone, wonder if it will affect their league form I hope so.
Plus city v United in FA cup 3rd round, this is shaping up for a good season, just hope arsenal can take advantage

City will smash United in that third round.

I hate Ferdinand, agree Lewb... should have left ages ago...

Why doesn't A. Frei play EPL?

Im a United fan and im not trying to justify the form we are in, But we have a very young unexperienced squad. We are in a rebuilding phase, But that game last night was terrible...I know Fergie won't take the Europa league seriously and concentrate on the Premier league and the FA cup.
