  • I'm still baffled over how the value of Smackdown went from 20-30 million to 1 billion.. like, how did they negotiate that?
I just watched "Rush", the movie about Lauda vs Hunt again and by god what a rivalry. Maybe we need more subtle stories like this in wrestling, where bitter rivals think they hate each other but in reality they need the other guy in order to succeed

I think reality and storylines mix together alot, especially in the storylines stated. Taker vs hbk, cena vs rock and punk vs cena have alot real life stuff
the way Tony Khan is doing this whole health insurance thing is kinda weird. Mox is still insured through his wife and the rest of the roster only get it if they have an office job with AEW. Shame that that's the only loophole
why is tapping out considered a bitch move? When someone has you in a good hold that you can't get out of, it's totally fair to tap. In comparison, you literally only have to lift 1 shoulder to get out of a pin lol

Oh...Sorry Base. That was a minor slip up. Forget I said anything.
Brandi Rhodes should maybe get off of social media from time to time. Doesn't seem to be healthy for her. She gets wrapped up in shit very easily. Seth just went private and I already like him more

yea they've both been ruthlessly arrogant lately ngl
suicide dives have lost all their impact. I used to love that move but it's so overdone at this point. Calling it a tope suicida doesn't make it alright either lol

I agree. There seems to be at least 1 in every match on a show these days.

Hearing Mauro yell "TOPE SUICIDA" is more exciting than actually seeing the move be performed
I'm not even mad at Corbin winning KOTR. He's been having stellar matches throughout the tournament and he's probably gonna make the most out of this. Now he just needs a new attire lol

I feel like this is going to be a repeat of what happened to the Miz. People used to legitimately despise the guy until that hate eventually turned into appreciation
what's interesting about WWE ratings is that they're fairly low when you compare them to the numbers they used to pull, but they're still among the most viewed TV shows each week

Espacially when you realise just a year ago, anything under 3 million was a failiure, now we are approaching a under 2 million edition of Raw. NFL is gonna murder them, the saints game during Raw got over 13 million, without Austin it would have been alot worse.
the last PPV I would've given a 10/10 was Mania 30. Had it all.. magnitude, emotions, talent, and a perfectly executed card from top to bottom filled with some incredible moments

Yeah Brock vs Taker wasn't necessarily a good match, but Brock ending the streak is probably the most shocking moment of all time. Not to mention it led to an amazing Lesnar WWE title run.
Meltzer's saying that Jericho is more marketable than Dave Batista ever was.. this man is off his nut. Maybe he should leave his house from time to time

@white crow Batista is mainstream for a reason now. Jericho's talented and well respected within the wrestling bubble but he doesn't have the same effect on a broader audience like Dave does. Batista looks like a megastar the second you look at him, while Jericho looks more like a cool dad who had a bit too much of the bubbly in recent years
Rafael Nadal could win 19 more grand slams and I'd still cry with him for every single one of them lol. What a rollercoaster of a match

here in Austria we mostly play on clay, so I naturally gravitate more towards the French Open where Nadal is basically a king, but I love watching all 4 of the grand slams
people who buy Teslas don't actually care about the environment. Even just the production of these things is outrageous for the environment
yall should check out Donald Glover's "Atlanta" if you haven't already, just finished robbin' season and the 3rd season's coming next year. Great stuff

yea I feel that, I don't really binge watch anything. I also watched the first season a while ago and then kinda forgot to follow it up, but watching season 2 flew by like nothing
