For months now on his twitter (dablackpope), D'Angelo Dinero has been posting "5-13-11" repeatedly. Today he posted:

"My time has come, It's time to move on. I've served well. Hope none has been disappointed; hope my hard work has been Applauded&Appreciated."

At the moment, he is still listed on the TNA roster page.

On theelijahexpress.com, it was announced that D'Angelo Dinero/Elijah Burke graduated and received his degree with high honors in Criminal Justice. recently. It could be that is what he was referring to with his 5-13-11 tweets and the one he posted last night, "My time has come, It's time to move on. I've served well. Hope none has been disappointed; hope my hard work has been Applauded&Appreciated."

Antoine Iglesias sent this. ... To follow up on your earlier story about D'Angelo Dinero graduating from college, the Elijah Express website admin actually announced Pope's graduation last week on Twitter and Facebook, so the 5-13-11 tease was not about that.

So, we are back to speculating as to what yesterday's tweet from The Pope actually meant.

Interesting story since Pope hasn't been used well recently in TNA. He did have that feud with Joe which was a minor feud that dragged on for a long time. To me that tweet he made does seem to refer to wrestling rather than college due to the line "Hope none has been disappointed". If he was to leave TNA then I am sure WWE would bring him in. They were idiots for releasing him when he was Elijah Burke in ECW as he seemed like a potential star.

What do you think this tweet refers to?

Surely it's because he's gone from TNA (not calling it iMPACT Wrestling), which, if that's the case, fingers crossed WWE pick him up. They'd be stupid not to as they were stupid to let him go in the first place.

I remember reading not long ago that people behind the scenes in TNA weren't happy with how Dinero carried himself backstage. Apparently he was basically considering himself as one of the top superstars and acted like he deserved to be treated that way. Idk, it was something like that relating to his heel character, don't really remember the exact details.

His push in TNA was strange, he was challenging for the World title in the first half of 2010 but after that shoulder injury he never reached those same heights. He turned heel too soon when the crowd was still behind him and TNA, like WWE, wasted a great opportunity with him. He is coming off two PPV loses to Joe who also seems to be going nowhere in TNA.

I wouldn't mind seeing him leave at all if its just to go to a different company. He's another one of those guys where you have to wonder what the hell happened to him.

Both he and Lethal were getting massive pushes and then both of those just ended. Suddenly he went from a top face to a heel overnight and he was never to pull it off.

If it was in fact a transitional period for him and now he's going to do something with his Criminal Justice degree, then good for him.

D'Angelo Dinero appeared on The Pro Wrestling Report radio show yesterday on ESPN Radio and made it clear he is not leaving TNA. There was a lot of speculation based on cryptic comments he made on Twitter, but you know what is said when you assume anything.

Why make ambiguous quote then, why not just saw what you mean. Since he is remaining with TNA lets hope that he is booked better in the next twelve months than he was in the previous twelve months. He used to be a world title contender but now he is just another midcarder.

Pope was great until he started trying to emulate other wrestlers and came off as nothing more than a tribute band instead of a full fledged star, plus the fact that his feud with Samoa Joe and back and forth heel turns just killed his momentum. You would think since he was with the WWE he would be a multi-time TNA champion by now.

His ambiguous tweet was probably a warning to the office or he was "hacked".

I certainly thought he would have been used more by TNA due to his past. Admittedly he wasn't a top star in WWE and wasn't used as much as someone like Mr Kennedy was in WWE.

Yeah he probably was "hacked" great excuse these days for wrestlers.
