It's hard to say when it became shit.Wrestling was watchable until around 2010/2011. Since then, it's mostly been utter sewage.
The whole "summer of Punk" was full of insider nonsense that turned off a lot of fans. Punk just didn't quite cut it as a main eventer. The "yes movement" was lame. The likes of Owens, Rollins and Zayn are dreadful performers. Styles is overrated. Ambrose could have been someone, but he ruined it by being too goofy. They have bungled Reigns's push throughout. There is also way too much content. 3 hours is way too long for RAW. The fans are annoying as well.
New Day was good from their original heel turn till 2016. Recent work has been sub-par, even though they had some amazing matches against The UsosBayley was another terrible act. As is Enzo and Cass and The New Day
Don't follow the Young Bucks but Indie wrestling is where it's at. You have so many places and types of wrestling you can't be bored. Plus, the wrestlers care about the fans, not like WWE etc.Indie wrestling is shit as well.
The Young Bucks look about 12 and just do high spots.
He made a lot of money, and that's all that matters for the WWECM Punk embarrasses the wrestling business. When he became champion in 2011, he was shown on a baseball broadcast. The commentators immediately mocked his appearance. He just doesn't look like a credible athlete or someone who could be handy in a fight. He looks like he's from a D-Level nu-metal band.
His pitiful efforts in the UFC are hilarious.
