Was Stone Cold Steve Austin a better wrestler before or after

I'm aware Austin was wrestling before he broke his neck now but at the time when I first saw him in the WWF/E his neck injury already happened, so I'm more used to the aggressive, punch and kick brawling style he was doing after the Owen Hart piledriver that eventually forced him to retire in 2003. But how was his wrestling style before the injury ?

Having seen his matches and work before the accident, I'd say he was a more diverse and active wrestler before the accident. He took a lot more moves, was able to put more offense and bumped like a champ. Post-injury, he mostly wrestled a brawling style, and reduce the amount of time he spent selling moves.

His wrestling style before hand was better. That's given though since he was limited after his injury on what he could do.
