I'm sure most already know, but the IWT titles won't be determined just yet. In a bid to garner more story-based feuds, the titles will be determined in a tournament at a later date. However, that doesn't mean matches are meaningless. Because we are going to applying a "table" system. For those that watch sports, it's basically the same thing. How does the tournament work?: To understand the table, you should first understand how this future tournament works. It is going to be a 4 man tournament, however two of the spots will determined by the table. There will be a "qualification" or preliminary round to determine the rest of the entrants; which is also based on Table performance. How does the table work?: You get 3 points for a win, 1 points for a draw, and 0 point for a loss. If two competitors are equal on points they will be separated by who had the larger margin of victory (aka "MV"), most often. That is only to determine the disputed spots on the table. The top 6 will be entered into the IWT Championship tournament. #1 and #2 will automatically be placed into the semi-final while the other two entrants are determine by matches between spots #3, #4, #5 and #6. The bottom half of the table, excluding last place, will be entered into a tournament for the IWT Undisputed Championship, the IWT's brand new secondary championship; representing the merger of the IWT Intercontinental and IWT Television Championships. Here's an example. 1.) Danny Jacobs (Entered into Semi-Finals) 2.) Dat Kid (Entered into Semi-Finals) 3.) Guernica (Qualification Round) 4.) Scott Fargo (Qualification Round) 5.) Aaron Parker (Qualification Round) 6.) Bishop (Qualification Round) ______________ 7.) Michael (Entered into Undisputed Title tournament) 8.) Diego Castrone (Entered into Undisputed Title tournament) 9.) Garret Lynch( Entered into Undisputed Title tournament) 8.) Eddie Ramone (Entered into Undisputed Title tournament) 10.) Benjamin Locke (Disallowed from entering tournament) The top 2 are entered into a tournament with 1 less match to compete in, as an award for the best table performance. The absolute bottom of the table are eliminated from tournament participation while the 2nd half are entered into the tournament with nobody receiving an advantage. The table will be released after every PPV and/or have a series of Dark matches.
