If you look at the IMPACT Wrestling Roster in 2018, it looks very different than it did 5 years ago, it even looks different from 3 years ago! New names have emerged, new Stars have been made and new rivalries have started. Names like Rosemary, Allie and Su Yung have taken the place of Knockouts in the past. When you talk about the male Roster, you think of men like Brian Cage, Johnny IMPACT, Sami Callihan, Moose and Eddie Edwards more than you think about the past Stars.

This is not to take anything away from the men and women who paved the way for our current Roster. We wouldn’t be where we are today without their efforts, their blood, sweat, tears and determination.

Then there is one Knockout who has managed to stay in the spotlight, one Knockout who is on the verge of winning her 6th Knockouts Title at Slammiversary on July 22nd in Toronto, one Knockout who has withstood the test of time. Madison Rayne is that Knockout. It could be that because she started career so early and found tremendous success with the Beautiful People that Madison Rayne is still thriving today in 2018. It could be that she has more to prove now than she did in the past. It could be that everything is simply coming together for the 5x Knockouts Champion right now.

Madison has returned and defeated Tessa Blanchard, twice. She has beaten Taya Valkyrie and now is looking forward to July 22nd and Su Yung at Slammiversary.

Thursday night on IMPACT, Madison Rayne will sit down and discuss her path, her past and her future. What will she have to say? Don’t miss IMPACT on Thursday night to find out.

Why haven't WWE signed Rayne?

She's much easier on the eye than Bayley and a lot of other WWE female "talent".

Idk, I'd rather watch Bayley than watch Madison Rayne stumble through a promo before slipping through the middle rope.

Why do the women need to "strut their stuff"? Can't they go out there and perform to the best of their ability and shine that way?
Well yeah, in some instances.

But a female wrestler's appearance is very beneficial to her marketability. Even in 2018. Don't let feminists or SJWs fool you.

If I want to get my willies hard I'll go watch porn, not watch a PG fake-fighting show.

Meanwhile, I'll watch a PG fake-fighting show to watch people that know how to fake-fight.

Attractiveness adds to the package. People like to look at attractive people.
It isn't the whole of the package.

Bayley isn't attractive, but she can wrestle. That's a little more useful than having fake tits and soccer mom haircut

Bayley can wrestle? When. Her fans are creepy neckbeards

And no, Rayne is much more marketable than Bayley. You are underestimating how much appearance matters.

Appearance matters, but when that appearance is just fake tits there's no substance.

Chyna had appearance and talent, and became one of the biggest draws in WWE and the biggest woman draw in wrestling.

Chyna had zero talent and never proved to be a massive draw.

One of the top selling playboy centerfolds of all time?
Because of her appearance and because wrestling was hot at the time.

You are arguing my point for me. Looks matter more than in-ring skills when it comes to women. Chyna was never a good wrestler or promo. She was a decent sideshow attraction. But not a serious draw. That's what women's wrestling should be, other than perhaps Rousey and Trish Stratus.
