GPW.com presents GPW Gang Warfare Results

Global Pro Wrestling was more than in a festive mood during Thanksgiving weekend and beyond, but after the turkey has been carved and the desserts have been eaten, it was time for some warfare...Gang Warfare! Here's the results from Gang Warfare!

    GPW DEFCON
    Philadelphia, GA
    19,514 Fans in Attendance

The crowd was rowdy and ready in Philadelphia for GPW's DEFCON event. Lucas Jones, Richard Washington and Paul Goodlove were on commentary for the event, which saw a few championship bouts, including a fatal four way for the GPW World Heavyweight Championship between King Shaka, LeJuan Jones, Logan Lemmett, and Antonio Garcia, and especially a Gang Warfare match between The Asylum and The Street Soldiers.

    1. GPW Women's Championship: Lady Sheba (c) vs. Ana Coracao
The GPW Women's Championship was on the line as the dominant Lady Sheba faced off against high flying specialist "Brazilian Venom" Ana Coracao. Coracao was very elusive throughout the match, frustrating Lady Sheba every chance she got with her speed and reversal tactics. It looked like Coracao's tactics were working and looked to put the match away with her signature reverse frankensteiner into a recliner, only for Lady Sheba to catch her with a falcon arrow and a sit-out powerbomb to retain the GPW Women's Championship.
Lady Sheba def. Ana Coracao with a sit-out powerbomb to retain the GPW Women's Championship (9:42)

    2. Jason Reynolds vs. Hans Richter
Jason Reynolds is currently riding a wave of momentum in GPW and would have to face his toughest opponent yet in Hans Richter. Richter was imposing and beating down Reynolds in the early goings of the match, utilizing neck wrenches, elbows to shoulders, and various biel tosses. Richter continued this beatdown before stopping in the middle of the match and starts singing opera. This allowed Reynolds to get back to his feet and perform a schoolboy on Richter, only getting a two count. Richter went for a clothesline, only for Reynolds to catch him with a dropkick, followed by a DDT. Reynolds climbed the top rope and delivered an elbow drop onto Richter to get a three count.
Jason Reynolds def. Hans Richter with an elbow drop (10:54)

    ***Promo featuring LeJuan Jones***
"The Number One Draft Pick," LeJuan Jones in his locker room getting ready for his match. Brother Julius walks in and tells LeJuan Jones that he has a fool-proof plan to ensure that he will win the GPW World Heavyweight Championship. LeJuan Jones is intrigued by this as Brother Julius tells him that he's been talking with the referee and paying him off. LeJuan Jones laughs and says "That's not bad, I can win this title after all."

    3. GPW Cruiserweight Tag Team Championship: StarrVice (c) vs. The Bad Boys on the Block
The 3. GPW Cruiserweight Tag Team Championship was up for grabs in a rematch from last month's GPW Tag Team League as Rock Starr and Ricky Vice, collectively known as StarrVice, took on the babyfaced heel duo of Justin Carter and Ryan Street, better known as the Bad Boys on the Block. Starr and Carter started off the match with some chain grappling, which came to a stalemate. Carter scratched Starr's eyes and utilized some underhanded tactics and even double teamed Starr with Street, isolating Vice. With Street tagged in, he suplexed Starr and showcased some of his technical prowess in the ring. Starr managed to reverse a chinlock into a hammerlock transitioning into a headscissors takedown. Starr tags in Vice, who comes out charging and attacking both Carter and Street. Vice then placed Street in a Vice Lock (Tazmission/Rear Naked Choke Hold combo), and it seemed like StarrVice was going to retain the titles, that was until Britney Moore arrived and distracted the referee, causing Justin Carter to enter the ring and break up the hold and belt Vice with brass knuckles and also knocking out Starr. This allowed Street to hit Vice with a Dream Street (Screw neckbreaker drop) to get the 3 count and the Bad Boys on the Block the GPW Cruiserweight Tag Team Championship.
The Bad Boys on the Block def. StarrVice when Ryan Street delivered Dream Street on Ricky Vice to win the GPW Cruiserweight Tag Team Championship (10:25)

**Promo featuring Logan Lemmett and Monroe Storm***
Logan Lemmett is doing bicep curls in his locker room. He stops when he feels Monroe Storm's hands rubbing across his chest, shoulders, and biceps. Logan asks Monroe what is she doing, to which Monroe answers by saying that she's looking to make sure that Logan will win the GPW World Heavyweight Championship. Logan asks Monroe how, to which Monroe replies by saying that a lady never kisses and tells. Logan stops Monroe from leaving and demands that he wants to know the answer. Monroe simply kisses Logan, licks his lips, tasting them and leaves.

    4. Adonis Grenier vs. Rafael Tizon
"The Perfect Body," Adonis Grenier and Rafael Tizon were up next. Tizon started the match off with a flurry of punches and kicks, causing Grenier to back away and nearly exit from the ring. Tizon charges at Grenier with a flying knee, only for Grenier to move out of the way and start working on Tizon's knee, placing him in a kneebar, half Boston Crab, and an even an ankle lock. Grenier then played to the crowd, taunting them and telling them how great he looks compared to them. This allowed Tizon to get back up and tackle Grenier to the ground and deliver ground and pound punches and elbows, followed by trying to go for an armlock, but Grenier grabs the bottom rope, forcing Tizon to release the hold. Tizon viciously kicks away at Grenier and follows it up with a tornado kick. Just as Tizon is about to finish the match, Mr. Business comes down the ramp, catching the attention of the referee. Grenier delivers a low blow and follows it up with a torture rack to gain the victory.
Adonis Grenier def. Rafael Tizon with a torture rack (9:43)

***Promo featuring members of The Asylum***
We open on the boiler room in the backstage area as we Gary Strange, Chris Madness, Judge Hatred, Dr. Loc, and Dogg 40 all standing around and delivering their threats to the Street Soldiers. Gary Strange says that he will leave Kaine Harris in a pool of his own blood and takeoff with Jessica and torture her in his Florida basement. Chris Madness says that he will batter Akima Toa to no end. Judge Hatred says that he will be Kazuhiro Arai's jury and executioner. Dr. Loc and Dogg 40 said that Ronnie Daze and Big Fame will be taking a dirt nap and that they will piss on their graves. Gary Strange then says "Welcome to The Asylum!"

    5. GPW Cruiserweight Championship: Jerome Evans (c) vs. Masoto Ishii
A rematch for the GPW Cruiserweight Championship was at hand as "The Hi-Fli Kid," Jerome Evans and Masoto Ishii squared off. Evans and Ishii traded punches and kicks with one another as the two rivals showed no signs of backing down from one another. Evans gains the upper hand with a hurricanrana, followed by bouncing off the ropes and delivering a leaping headscissors takedown. Evans then bounced off the ropes again and looked for a somersault hurricanrana, only for Ishii to counter with a sit-out powerbomb. Ishii delivers punches to Evans's groin, followed by stomping on them. Ishii took control of the match by utilizing neck wrenches, stomping on fingers, and various armlocks. Ishii continued to employ torture on Evans with an abdominal stretch, who managed to escape and deliver a hip toss. Evans then bounces off the ropes, cartwheels and delivers a moonsault. Evans goes for the pin, but gets a 2 count. Evans then goes for a powerbomb DDT and signals to the crowd that he is ready to end the match. Evans goes for a shooting star press, but misses its mark as Ishii rolls out of the way. Ishii picks Evans up and delivers a pile driver, followed by delivering a moonsault from the top rope to get the 3 count and win the GPW Cruiserweight Championship.
Masoto Ishii def. Jerome Evans with a moonsault to win the GPW Cruiserweight Championship (10:11)

**Promo featuring members of Street Soldiers**
We open on a dark area somewhere backstage, preferably resembling an alleyway as we see Kaine Harris (with Jessica), Ronnie Daze, Big Fame, Akima Toa and Kazuhiro Arai all standing around and delivering their threats to The Asylum. Kaine Harris says that he will send Gary Strange back to Florida in a bodybag somewhere in the everglades or an alligator infested swamp. Ronnie Daze and Big Fame say that they're gonna perform a malpractice on Dr. Loc while they spay and neuter Dogg 40. Akima Toa says that he will rip Chris Madness to shreds and show him what real crazy looks like. Akima Toa spew his threats in Japanese and translated it by saying that he will be the one to deliver the final judgment to Judge Hatred. Kaine Harris then says "We're street soldiers and we're ready for warfare!"

    6. Ezekiel vs. General Wade
Ezekiel makes his pay-per-view debut as he faces one half of Militant Madness, General Wade. This match was hard hitting and smash mouth as the two men battled it out. General Wade did as much as he could bring Ezekiel down, but whatever he was trying to do wasn't working. Ezekiel caught General Wade with a chokeslam, followed by a tombstone piledriver to win the match.
Ezekiel def. General Wade with a tombstone piledriver (8:49)

**Music video featuring King Shaka, Logan Lemmett, LeJuan Jones, and Antonio Garcia**

    7. Gang Warfare Match: The Asylum (Gary Strange, Chris Madness, Judge Hatred, Dr. Loc, and Dogg 40) vs. Street Soldiers (Kaine Harris, Ronnie Daze, Big Fame, Akima Toa, Kazuhiro Arai)
The stage was set. The steel cage lowered upon the ring as police sirens blared and raucous yelling permeated throughout Philadelphia. Gang Warfare is upon us! The rules were similar to War Games. Chris Madness and Akima Toa started the match in what was nothing more than an all out brawl. 2 minutes later, Judge Hatred entered the battle and attacked Toa. 2 minutes after that, Kazuhiro Arai came charging in as he even the odds for Street Soldiers. Dr. Loc and Dogg 40 entered the battle, causing a 4 on 2 assault in The Asylum's odds. GPW Tag Team Champions Ronnie Daze and Big Fame tried to enter the match, but Dr. Loc and Dogg 40 closed off the steel cage door. Ronnie Daze and Big Fame climbed the cage and dove off the top of the cage, laying everyone out. Gary Strange entered the ring and tried to go for a quick pin on Toa, Arai, Ronnie Daze, and Big Fame, but the referees stop him, telling him that the match hasn't officially begun. By the time Kaine Harris entered the ring, Gang Warfare was official. The Asylum and Street Soldiers relentlessly beat each other senselessly ten minutes afterwards, with hard hitting punches, high flying moves and a slew of weapons like chairs, trashcans, stop signs, and steel bars. The match ended with Kaine Harris with a Raising Kaine on Strange to get the 3 count.
Street Soldiers (Kaine Harris, Ronnie Daze, Big Fame, Akima Toa, Kazuhiro Arai) def. The Asylum (Gary Strange, Chris Madness, Judge Hatred, Dr. Loc, and Dogg 40) when Kaine Harris used a Raising Kaine on Strange (22:49)

**Promo preview of GPW next pay-per-view, A New Dawn**

    8. GPW World Heavyweight Championship: King Shaka (c) vs. Antonio Garcia vs. LeJuan Jones vs. Logan Lemmett
The GPW World Heavyweight Championship was up for grabs as King Shaka defended his title against "The King of Mexican Strong Style," Antonio Garcia, "The Number One Draft Pick," LeJuan Jones, and Logan Lemmett. All four men wasted no time clashing with one another as LeJuan and Antonio went at each other, while King Shaka and Logan traded elbows and punches. Antonio delivered a hard clothesline on LeJuan and went for the pin, but the referee slowly counted to two and stood up, forcing Antonio to break the pin and confront the ref. This allowed LeJuan to perform a roll up and try to end the match quickly, but Logan broke the hold. Logan battered away on LeJuan and decided to attack Antonio. King Shaka and LeJuan traded punches back and forth with each other. King Shaka went for the King's Crown and pinned LeJuan, but the referee refused to make the three count. King Shaka confronted the ref, only to get a low blow from LeJuan, who delivered a Game Winner. The referee went for a quick three count, but thankfully, Antonio and Logan broke up the count. Antonio and Logan attacked King Shaka and LeJuan, double teaming the both of them. Antonio and Logan performed a duo powerbomb on both King Shaka and LeJuan. Both Logan and Antonio tried to go for the pin, but the referee would not make the count. This forced Antonio and Logan to take out the referee. Brother Julius entered the ring to confront Antonio and Logan, only to be powerbombed by the both of them. Antonio and Logan battled each other until Monroe Storm made her way to the ring with a new referee. Antonio was going to use Moctezuma's Revenge on Logan, only for Monroe to throw dust in the eyes of Antonio. Logan hoisted Antonio over his shoulders and hit Logan's Run on Antonio. Logan went for the pin, only for LeJuan and King Shaka to break the count at the last second. Logan battered both LeJuan and King Shaka. He lift both men to hit a double Logan's Run, only for the both of them to escape the hold and throw Logan over the top rope. King Shaka goes for the King's Crown on LeJuan, but Monroe Storm throws dust in his eyes, causing him to lose his grip and letting LeJuan hit the Game Winner on King Shaka.

Brother Julius raises LeJuan Jones's left arm, while LeJuan's right arm raises the GPW World Heavyweight Championship. Monroe Storm stands beside Logan Lemmett, unaware that King Shaka is glaring at her with disgust. Antonio Garcia also glares at Monroe Storm as well, but also sees LeJuan and Brother Julius celebrating at the ramp as confetti falls from the sky. 1. GPW Women's Championship: Lady Sheba (c) vs. Amy Samuels
The GPW Women's Championship was on the line as Lady Sheba defended her title against the "Iron Maiden" Amy Samuels. Right off the bat, the two women wasted no time battering each other with fists and forearm shots, but Lady Sheba would use her strength to overpower Samuels. Lady Sheba took control of the match, still overpowering Samuels, until she snapped Lady Sheba's fingers and utilized her brutal technical and submission savvy moves. Lady Sheba would once again try to comeback into the match and try to retain her title, but Samuels would place Lady Sheba in her Iron Maiden submission hold, forcing Lady Sheba to tap out. Amy Samuels won the GPW Women's Championship.
Amy Samuels def. Lady Sheba with an Iron Maiden (9:18) to win the GPW Women's Championship.

    2. Falls Count Anywhere Match: Kaine Harris vs. Gary Strange
Kaine Harris and "Florida Man" Gary Strange continued their hardcore rivalry and kicked it up another notch as they battled it out in a Falls Count Anywhere Match. Both Harris and Strange wasted no time going at each other, not even entering the ring at all. Harris and Strange fought in the crowd, backstage, the concession stands, and even outside as the two battered each other with whatever they could find. Strange would bring out his pet alligator to terrorize Jessica, Harris's girlfriend, but it only serve to anger Harris enough to deliver a chair shot, but also climb to the top of the ladder and deliver an elbow drop on Strange to get the pin.
Kaine Harris def. Gary Strange (10:24) with an elbow drop.

Backstage, we see LeJuan Jones and Brother Julius discussing strategy with each other, when Monroe Storm walks in. Monroe Storm tells LeJuan and Brother Julius that she wants to help LeJuan keep the GPW World Heavyweight Championship and then some. Brother Julius shakes his head, but resumes discussing strategy with LeJuan.

    3. GPW Cruiserweight Tag Team Championship: The Bad Boys on the Block (c) vs. StarrVice
The GPW Cruiserweight Tag Team Championship was on the line as Justin Carter and Ryan Street, collectively known as the Bad Boys on the Block, took on the psychedelic duo of Rock Starr and Ricky Vice, collectively known as StarrVice. In the early going, Carter and Street isolated Vice away from Starr, while utilizing underhanded tactics, such as choking and illegal tags. Starr got the tag at one point, but the referee forced Starr back into his corner. Carter and Street looked to end the match, but their cockiness would come back to bite them as Vice fought his way to make the tag to Starr, who went out on a rampage against the Bad Boys on the Block. Britney Moore looked to distract Starr from ending the match, but she was stopped as Kimiko Harashima pulled her down from the apron and deliver a roundhouse kick. Starr nailed Street with a Michinoku Driver, followed by a shooting star press to get the win.

Both Evans and El Colibri wasted no time taking out their aggression on Ishii, with double suplexes, double hurricanranas, and battering him with ladders. With Ishii out of the picture, Evans and El Colibri turned their attention to battling each other for the GPW Cruiserweight Championship. Evans and El Colibri traded kicks and punches with each other, until El Colibri caught Evans with a headscissors takedown. El Colibri set the ladder and began to climb it, but Evans got back up and leapt onto the ladder and prevented El Colibri from trying to take the title. Evans and El Colibri battered each other with a flurry of fists, until Ishii pushed the ladder down, causing Evans and El Colibri to fall onto the canvas. Ishii grabbed his kendo stick and whacked away on Evans and El Colibri. Ishii followed it up with dual DDTs to both Evans and El Colibri. Ishii set the ladder and began to climb. Ishii was fingertips away from retaining his title, but Evans and El Colibri pushed him off the ladder and out of the ring. Evans and El Colibri both resumed beating each other up. Evans goes for a tornado DDT, but El Colibri reversed it, sending Evans out on the floor with Ishii. El Colibri bounced off the ropes and delivered a Tope Con Hilo on Ishii and Evans, taking all three competitors out. All three competitors rolled back into the ring and continued their battle. Ishii went to use his kendo stick, only for El Colibri to catch him with a superkick. Evans caught El Colibri with a tornado DDT. Evans set the ladder up and climbed it. As Evans was about to grab the title, he was struck from behind by Ishii and his kendo stick. Ishii then powerbombed Evans onto the canvas. Jason Reynolds has been on the rise as of late and was looking for a big time win. Grenier took control of the match in the early goings, showcasing his strength and his chiseled hard body for everyone to see. Grenier's arrogance would bite him in the back as Reynolds came fighting back with a series of dropkicks, knife edged chops, and a few suplexes. Reynolds was on a roll. After hitting a DDT on Grenier, Reynolds was ready to put this match away with his elbow drop, but Mr. Business would distract the referee, causing Reynolds to confront him and throw a punch, sending Mr. Business reeling. Reynolds turned his attention to Grenier, who caught him with a low blow and a roll up. Grenier retained the GPW International Championship.

Right from the opening bell both LeJuan and King Shaka glared at each other, followed by teeing off on each other with a flurry of punches and forearms. LeJuan would get the better of King Shaka and went for a clothesline, only for King Shaka to duck underneath the move and catch LeJuan with a clothesline of his own. King Shaka delivered another clothesline, followed by a snap suplex and a chin lock. King Shaka was full control of the match, doing everything that he could to keep LeJuan grounded. At one point in the match, Brother Julius distracted the referee, just enough for Monroe Storm to throw a crowbar in the ring for LeJuan to use. LeJuan went to use the crowbar, only for King Shaka to take it away. The referee caught King Shaka and took the weapon away from him. This allowed LeJuan to deliver a low blow and hit King Shaka with his finisher, Game Winner.

King Shaka went for the pin, but Monroe Storm would enter the ring and distract the referee. King Shaka sees this and delivers a King's Crown on Monroe Storm. King Shaka would resume the pin again.

    Takeaways from the event

    1. Amy Samuels and Lady Sheba continued brawling all the way to the back after their match and had to be separated by security and staff. There seems to be bad blood brewing between the two wrestlers, that could lead up to a match at HighStakes.

    2. The Flying Idols (Hwan Junghae and Jerome Evans) have earned a title shot for the GPW Cruiserweight Tag Team Championship against StarrVice (Rock Starr and Ricky Vice). StarrVice told the Flying Idols to bring their A-Game for HighStakes.

    3. Masoto Ishii defeated rival El Colibri for the GPW Cruiserweight Championship. According to sources, the two are scheduled for a possible rematch at HighStakes, considering the bruises Colibri suffered from Ishii's kendo stick.

    4. LeJuan Jones retained his GPW World Heavyweight Championship against "The King of Mexican Strong Style," Antonio Garcia. LeJuan Jones joined the commentary team for the main event 35 man battle royal, where he insulted an commented on potential opponents.

    5. King Shaka won the 35 man battle royal to cap off the night. King Shaka, along with Logan Lemmett, Kaine Harris, and a surprise underdog in Mangod, were the final four participants remaining in the ring. Kaine Harris was eliminated by Mangod, thanks to Gary Strange returning back to the ring and assaulting Harris. Mangod would later find himself eliminated by Lemmett with ease. It looked like Lemmett was going to win the battle royal, with help from Monroe Storm, but King Shaka managed to outsmart Lemmett, causing him to bump into Storm, allowing King Shaka to eliminate Lemmett and win the battle royal. After the match, LeJuan Jones entered the ring and raised the GPW World Heavyweight Championship over his head while staring down King Shaka.
