I'm questioning their thinking of shoehorning a midcard feud into the main event picture. Maybe its to add some extra meaning to Ziggler's return? Thoughts?

A main event featuring Styles, Owens, Zayn and Ziggler = No buys.

Styles is good, but overrated. The other three are the drizzling shits.

Part of me would like to see Sami win it, and redo Sami vs Nak at WM for the title.

Nak vs Styles will be good, but I don’t think Sami vs Kevin should happen again unless the other is a champion.

Sami v. Nakamura was a MOTYC in 2016 bro, add some storyline and the meaningful billing of a title match and you can have one of the best matches either of them have ever had.

a one month story with a dude who's only story with his opponent was having a debut match. what history?
Compared to styles/nakumura, they have so much to work with compared to sami and nakumura.
If anyone actually believes that Sami/Nakumura would be more appealing than AJ/Nakumura at this stage is pure delusional. Sami still hasn't had a monumental win ever since turning heel. Even prior to that, he's had nothing.

I can’t really see what build that AJ/Nak do that would be on par, or better than what Nak/Sami could do tbh.

They’re not gonna mention their NJPW match, and it’s not like Nak has been undefeated. Last time Nak was in a WWE title program he was losing to Mahal, so it isn’t like AJ has anything to do. So what, it’s basically gonna be a battle of respect?

They could spin Nak/Sami to where Nak only beat Sami because he was too busy trying to elicit the fight forever chants, instead of doing it for himself. But this time he’s not gonna let anything get inbetween him and his title, because he’s not worried about pleasing the idiot audience. Just feel like there’s more to go off between the two.

I’m not saying that it’d be a better match up marketing wise, or it would do better numbers. But I do think that it could have a better build, and the ark would be more interesting.

Nothing involving Zayn is interesting. He should have been sent back to the minor leagues a long time ago.

Both Styles and Nakamura are overrated, but both are way above Zayn.

Logic says Cena should win this. He's the biggest and most bankable star involved. But Cena is above putting over Nakamura at Wrestlemania and we all know Cena is facing off against the Undertaker anyway.

WWE shot themselves in the foot really. They should have had Undertaker win the Royal Rumble and then have Cena win the 6-way. That way, Cena and Undertaker could square off for the title at Wrestlemania. It would benefit the belt to have two real stars fight over it. Styles and Nakamura could have their little match on the undercard.

    Undertaker shouldn't win the Rumble.

He's my favorite, but Nakamura deserved to win it.

Nakamura's gimmick is too weird to draw in America. It just doesn't work in the west.

    What lol

American pro wrestling was, is and forever will be about gimmicks. There's no such thing as a weird gimmick. lol.

How can you seriously say that The Undertaker deserves the title match, while also saying Nakamura has too weird of a gimmick to do the same. Sounds pretty ironic.

The Undertaker has physical presence and his gimmick is timeless. It evolved with the times.

Nakamura and his funny faces just don't translate to the American audience that well. A lot of Americans just don't get it. He just about works as a mid-carder, but would he work as a main-eventer? Not on your life. He wouldn't draw a dime.

    Makes 0 sense.

No matter if undertakers gimmick had tweaks, it’s still an undead wizard. Far worse than a spazzy Michael Jackson rip off.

Undertaker distanced himself the "undead wizard" character for much of the 00's. Yes, he did revert back to it from 2004 onward - but he got away with it. The gimmick is somehow timeless. Probably because a lot of fans grew up with it when it was acceptable during the cartoon era.

Besides, Undertaker looks like he can kick your ass and has physical presence. Nakamura comes across as a drag queen who pulls funny faces. That doesn't sell to the average person watching at home.
