This was eventually going to happen after that recent interview where he took plenty of shots at TNA and made it clear that he wasn't happy working there anymore. When he was part of LAX he was the hottest thing in TNA then they broke up that team way too early and he never recovered from that.

He will most likely go back to ROH again and possibly he will join WWE, NXT Season 3/4 star?
