Yeah they held a tourney throughout season 1 for both the HW and Tag titles. The first champs were crowned for what is supposed to air as the season 2 debut, at least that is what I remember reading when they said it would be seasonal. They basically spent season 1 having both tourneys, introducing characters/stables, and explaining the difference between lucha rules and the wrestling rules you are used to.

- Carlito debuted on the last season 1 episode.
- Petey was revealed on the second episode of season 2
- Lizzy debuts at the Feb 3 tapings

How many episodes do they tape at one taping? Cause I know they only had like 7 episodes on last season.

2 like TNA used to do.

MTV2/3 wanted a central location so season 1 was cut short as the costs were high for taking production equipment everywhere. Season 2 should be longer

I also remembered there being talks that they would have web exclusive matches like WSX as well.

Wonder if they will marathon season 1 leading into season 2. Wouldn't mind watching them like that rather than online.

Even though it isn't MTV 1, I would think so.

I guess Jimmy Hart and Wrestlicious wanted too much from MTV 2 with them adding women to the show like they did.

Telling you right now though that you will say is that Rey when you first look at Super Nova.

Wrestlicious was fuckin garbage. Thats still on MavTV or whatever the fuck channel its on. I didn't even make it through a full episode of that trash.

LLUSA and MTV also got Brittney Savage aka Brooke Carter to sign a deal for season 2 according to one report. She debuted last season and was only used for one taping, but now she will be a full time roster member along with the other recent signings.

The other female indy talent that they have signed is Rosetta Park, a female version of La Parka (without the mask) according to reports.

Spoilers from a taping say there was another masked woman who also will debut in the second season 2 episode

Total - 3 more female signings.
