On his Twitter page, Kurt Angle wrote the following today:

To all my loyal fans, many of u ask if I am going to go back to wwe. My answer is "no".My loyalty lies with dixie and tna.Never been happier

I know a lot of u would like me to but dixie carter has taken care of me.I need that kind of support,so I hope u continue to watch me in tna about 3 hours ago via txt

I had fun with wwe and vince mcmahon, but that was my past. It is behind me.They gave me the opportunity, and I'm grateful but tna is my home about 3 hours ago via txt

Well he did sign a one year extension only recently with TNA so he clearly isn't going anywhere. Plus by the time that deal is up will his body even be up to another year of wrestling? The WWE workload is much harder since there are more dates per year so I can't see it happening. Kurt will finish his career with TNA, hopefully before he does too much damage to himself.

I just wonder what this decision will do for his chances at the WWE HOF when he finally hangs up his singlet. His WWE career is stellar but its short. Seven years should make it difficult to be considered for it. Much like The Rock's career, do the accomplishments outweigh the short stay in the company? Time will tell on that one I guess.

In the end I think that he will get into the WWE HOF. He achieved so much whilst in WWE and I don't think the fact that he was there for seven years will hurt him. He was successful from the start plus WWE would love to have an Olympic gold medalist in their HOF. Plus WWE will always need half a dozen wrestlers each year to induct so the chances are he will be inducted and as a key name. It will take a few years so people can forget about TNA and then they will induct him and at the same time release a DVD since I don't remember them ever releasing a Kurt Angle DVD.

But I don't see seven years as being a short run, espically nowadays the avenge run for a wrestler in WWE is only three four years. And for me Kurt did more than enough in that time to deserve his spot. Also, because he was the only Olmpic gold medalist there, that marks him out as uniqe.

Besides I remain convinced that Angle will one day return to WWE for one more run.
