CM Punk Injury

CM Punk isn’t expected to be in ‘wrestling action’ for at least three months due to his hip issue, however WWE creative has been told to come up with non-wrestling storylines to integrate punk into RAW.

Surgery is scheduled for this week and as of writing, Punk is not expected to appear on this week’s TV tapings.

In terms of the injury, the feeling is that Punk could work through it, but WWE management do not want to risk it getting any worse.

It is a shame that he will be out for three months but I like the idea of keeping him around in a non-wrestling role whilst he is healing. He would be a great addition to the announce table on RAW or as a manager for a worker like Bryan for example. Hopefully he can ensure he is fully fit before Wrestlemania.

With his great mic skills I don't think it would be that hard to keep him on screen until he is healthy. Injuries can really affect a guys spot on the card but I think Punk will be fine.

The company are not doing anything with him anyway so it might be a good chance for him to rechage and for creative to come up with something fresh while he is away.
