I think it's a work, but I wouldn't be surprised. Angle needs to take care of his neck.

Angle needs to retire. He hasn't put on a good match without the same formula for months. Maybe years.

I agree he needs to retire for health reasons mostly. I do think he's phoned it in these past few months, but definitely not for years.

Angle is a lot less "formula" than some of the top players going today.

Not bashing the guy. I mean, like you said, he's phoned it in the past few months but he's still got that same formula that personally bores me most times. His match against Roode at BFG was decent but overhyped because it was the only good match on the show.

Those are his moves, but a "formula" is when you execute said moves exactly the same in every match or only appears to just be checking off a list. Rob Van Dam is probably the worst culprit of this. Raven said it best "Rolling Thunder. Check. Split Legged Moonsault. Check. Five Star Frog Splash. Check." The most routine formula going to day I won't get into though as that's a rabbit's hole I'm not going down today! : I do grant you he's been off his game this past six or so months. I blame that on health and personal issues.

I think TNA should induct him into the Hall of Fame and then he can retire. Perhaps elevate a star and pass the torch at Slammiversary.

Man, that was amazing. Although, someone on the comments section (take that for what you will) said his eyes were incredibly dilated so something could definitely be wrong but the whole "did I win?" thing is a work but he's an excellent actor.
