So were spending two days in Philly and two days in DC any recommendations?

Let's see...Stay away from South Philly...Get a hotel in NJ and drive across the bridge into Philly, it'll be much cheaper and it's like 15 minutes. Center City Philadelphia is really cool. Lots of good restaurants and shops. DC, you have to go to at least one of the Smithsonian Museums...those are awesome.
