TNA Tag Team Championship
James Storm & Alex Shelley (c) vs. The British Invasion

Storm's partner and co-tag team champion is Bobby Roode but he was attacked and injured by Immortal. Due to that Storm needed a new tag team partner, enter Alex Shelley who is missing his tag team partner Chris Sabin due to injury. So because of that GUN MONEY has formed and they will defend the titles against British Invasion who won a title shot. The British Invasion are somewhat a surprise choice for a title shot but I am not complaining as I am a fan of both Doug Williams and Magnus.

Who do you think will win? What are your thoughts on both teams?

Shouldn't they be named the Beer Guns, seeing as James Storm is about the beer?

British Invasion are undervalued and should get a run with the titles, since it's obvious that they are going to break up Beer Money.

That is a great point. Beer Guns makes more sense.

I like British Invasion but that had barely been used in recent months. A title reign for them would be good and hopefully there is a title switch at Slammiversary.

Yeah don't get Gun Money. Anyways I see James Storm and Shelly retaining here. They always seem to throw the British Invasion for random tag matches and they never seem to win. A tag title win would be great for them.

I like Williams and Magnus has always had potential but they aren't used for shit anymore. I expect Storm and Shelley to have problems as a team but I just don't see British Invasion getting the belts.

It all depends what direction TNA wants to go. They could have Shelley and Storm have problems as a team which causes them to lose the titles and then they could feud. Or they could give us another tag team and not give TBI the titles. Maybe they retain here and then at the next PPV the British Invasion get the titles.

They did this storyline with AMW and Triple X already, they'll defend the belts for awhile and if Sabin is ready to go, they'll bring him back and team him up with Roode and they'll be new tag champions. Until the baddies get tired of teaming with the enemy and lose on purpos in a 3-way.

But judging from that, it would be a pretty long storyline and TNA doesn't have anythiong go past 4 months before they forget about it and reboot everything again.

Long term planning is something that rarely happens in wrestling these days so it would be good to see. The more I think about the more I think they will retain the titles and continue this storyline for a bit longer.

Deezy is right they did do this with AMW and Triple X and that feud was entertaining but it lead to both teams eventually reforming and facing off in an epic cage match to retire one team. I don't see that here plus with Sabin out till next year it would have to go at least 6 months, not going to happen.
