What should we expect?

Will Raw be pretty damn good because of it?

Will it be the same old shit?

As much as I have enjoyed Austin over the years, and still enjoy watching him up to a point, his act of stunning evey heel in sight, and mocking guys like Cole, and getting cheap pops from the crowd is getting a little bit old now, and when he isn't on the active roster, or involved in a major angle/feud, then this stuff after a while seems pointless.

Can't help but agree with you Keith.

The fact that we've seen so much of him in the last year kind of makes us spoiled and doesn't make it very special.

I wasn't too crazy about the lovefest last week with Cena either, but that's just me.

Wow so much for hope going into a three hour Raw. I do have hope for this show to be awesome, since it will be my first live Raw ever. With both shows on, things could be explosive. We shall see, but one thing I don't like it that they are promoting a stupid video game.

I fully enjoyed Austins appearance last week. It felt more like the SCSA character and less like a nostalgia trip which is what we have gotten until Tough Enough. I have a strong feeling that Austin will be used a bit more, possibly another TE season and MAYBE even one more match. So I have high hopes that this week will lead to building something for the SCSA character.

I read a few posts in here and see that people think Austin appearances are getting stale, what do you expect here? Him to wrestle?

He brings some levity and breaks up the monotony of Raw when he shows up. Act like thats a bad thing. Never satisfied.

We expect more from guys like ROcky and Austin because they were so good in their own time of reinventing themselves and making new material. Stone Cold's act has been old for several years now. That's why Tough Enough was so awesome because you were hearing something different besides is normal 5-10 lines and then drink beer.

Rocky's comeback should have shown you thathe really had to step up becuase his nostalgia act got a little stale. But he's talented enough to still reuse his cliche lines and still splice in just enough new crap to keep it seemingly fresh.

I don't mind stone cold and I have high hopes for this show. All Stars is a pretty sweet freaking game, and I'm curious how they work it into the feel of the show.

Has anybody failed to notice that the Anonymous GM is nearing one year? With Stone Cold on RAW, the week after marks a year.

Could it be? SCSA as the GM, he seemed to be telling Vince what to do last night (But he does that all the time), then they were acting out as friends. It is possible or we could soon find out, i'm hoping Anonymous GM ends this week!

I think that Stone Cold and Rock are at that stage of their career where pure nostalgia trumps everything. They are basically the Harlem Globetrotters right now, everyone has seen their show, but they keep going because they can bring their kids to the show and enjoy it with them. While reminiscing on how they were when they were watching the Globetrotters as a kid. Rock is prettty much where Hogan was when he came back in 02 and his nostalgia ride brought him a Undisputed Title.

A year ago I was one of those that was sick and bored of the SCSA appearances. He would appear too often throughout the year in similar circumstances and do the same thing. It lost the appeal because he was the special guest too often. Since Tough Enough that has changed since they used him in a specific role that actually had meaning and wasn't just Austin stunning someone. I liked what he did last week on TE and I don't mind that he is GM for the night. He is a character again so it should be good if they base everything around what he did on TE or even hint at the second season.

No you don't, you are not playing that game my friend! This is a wrestling forum, and we are stating our views on Austin, because it is how we feel as wrestling fans, it has nothing to do with being the IWC, when you or deezy post something I don't agree with, I don't resort to that reasoning.

To answer deezy's question I expect that when Stone Cold makes an appearence, he says or does something of substence, surely there are lots of things someone can actually do without having to get in the ring and wrestle.

Wrestling fan or mark? Because there is a difference. A wrestling fan is someone who watches the show to be entertained, a mark is someone trying to disect every single detail of the show to later nitpick it to death later online.

Besides, that was a joke. LRN2SARCASM.

So you're saying that Austin could go into a ring, cut a promo and leave.

Thanks for the contradiction in the very same thread.

Hello, my name is Seak. Since joining this forum I have attempted to maintain a serious demeanor and keep things business as usual, but every once in a while I must attempt plain old sarcasm. A decent amount of people here know I'm a sarcastic prick, so I brought it back for one post. So calm down there Keith and we can discuss Stone Cold being the guest GM further.
