Excuse the pun people, but I couldn't think of any other to some up how the future is going to be for The Miz.

When he lost the title to Cena at Extreme Rules, many people thought this was the end for Mr. Mizanin and his big star status...but in my eyes it's only the beginning. Many people complained that his title loss to Cena came so soon, but not really....Miz held the title for 100+ days, much longer than transitional main eventers Swagger and CM Punk did...that says something in itself that the company have faith in him to carry himself as a Champion that long, and the fact he's defeats the likes of Cena, proves he's got a bright future, I mean who else has Cena dropped the title to, who hasn't already been a Champion, not many people.

Also the amount of TV coverage and advertising deals he is getting...that just proves he's a top draw within the company. I really think Miz has a bright future and look forward to every moment of it.

I definitely agree with you there. He was champion for 160 days, which is the longest WWE Championship reign since 2008 when Triple H held the belt for 210 days. That's definitely saying something considering the champions since then have been Edge x2, Jeff Hardy, Triple H, Randy Orton x4, Batista x2, John Cena x4 and Sheamus x2. That's 16 title reigns from the Triple H reign I mentioned to The Miz's, and there are some big names there yet The Miz held the belt longer then they did. The longest reign out of those 16 was 91 days, which was Sheamus' second WWE Championship run, yet The Miz beat that by 69 days (basically just over 2 months). That's a big achievement!

Anyway, the future is definitely bright for The Miz. He is doing everything that Cena did when he was establishing himself as a top main eventer a few years ago, and that has apparently pulled in huge praise from WWE officials. The Miz isn't gonna take the Sheamus route and end up down in the mid-card area due to him being pushed too quickly, he's staying in the main event that's for sure.

As much as I would've liked to have seen his reign continue, I wasn't annoyed with it ending. There wasn't much left to happen and it was probably about time it ended as he'll only grow more if he's no longer champion. The only disappointment is that he hasn't gotten over as much as the WWE would've liked, but that can be fixed over time.

The thing some people may be asking now is what next? Well for the Miz I see him helping to build other Mid Card talent to main event status, or possibly fueding with someone huge without the title.... I doubt it will happen, but what about Miz vs Rock at Summerslam?

Well there really aren't many people that The Miz could feud with. He could feud with Mysterio next once his thing with R-Truth is over as that feud would definitely be quite fresh, or John Morrison later down the line if it's needed. Could throw Kingston in the mix, but only when he is no longer United States Champion because that feud would mean something other than it being for a title that Miz is above now. Hopefully, if Big Show loses the tag titles, he and Miz don't feud, because he'd be the next face that would make sense.

Other faces on the brand are Chris Masters, David Hart Smith, Evan Bourne, Goldust (injured), JTG, Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov. All those feuds would do nothing but pull Miz down, although I wish Masters would get pushed (but that's a story for a different day).

One feud I wouldn't mind seeing would be The Miz vs. Triple H. Could be interesting, especially since Triple H is listed as making an appearance at the MITB pay-per-view. Just an idea, like Prodigy's with Miz feuding with The Rock. Miz going over Triple H would be big for him, where I can't see him going over The Rock.

What The Miz needs is a strong feud to move into after this feud with John Cena is over to continue his momentum. At the moment it seems like Rey Mysterio is the best option. Mysterios feud with Truth is a stop-gap feud until John Morrison is back who will then feud with Truth. Miz vs. Mysterio can continue for a bit and then I really want to see Miz vs Morrison have a proper feud.

The Miz vs. HHH would be a good match for SummerSlam that is if HHH does return to the ring soon. It would be big for the Miz especially if he was able to get the win.

I was going to mention HHH but I'm not sure whether HHH would want to put Miz over or not, so he would refuse to work with him.....hell, Undertaker vs Miz is a long shot, if it did happen, Miz would go over for sure.

The pay-per-view after Money in the Bank is Summerslam, and as I mentioned Triple H is making an appearance at the PPV. It seems like the perfect situation for somebody like The Miz to come along and build a feud to a match at Summerslam.

The WWE Championship match at Summerslam is booked to be John Cena vs. Alberto Del Rio, also John Morrison and R-Truth are likely to have a match, who knows what Rey Mysterio will be up to. I think the MITB appearance is to build something for Triple H at Suimmerslam, so hopefully it's a match against The Miz.

I was going to mention HHH but I'm not sure whether HHH would want to put Miz over or not, so he would refuse to work with him.....hell, Undertaker vs Miz is a long shot, if it did happen, Miz would go over for sure.

Considering Triple H is head of talent development, having Miz go over him would be his job. If Miz was to lose to him, Triple H wouldn't be doing his job.

Also, no chance of the Undertaker facing anybody before the end of the year. I doubt he'll be back until next year tbh.
