Go check out www.wcw.com when you have some time. WWE have reopened it to celebrate the ten year anninversary of WWE buying WCW. They have posted a lot of info taking a look back at the history of WCW as well as the wrestlers. They have an interview with Chavo on there as well who is the only active competitor left who has never left WWE since it acquired WCW.

It is a bit of fun looking back at the WCW and it brings back some good memories.

Definitely a Joey Styles influence here, since he bitched about it on Twitter.

Weird to see that Chavo is the only one who is left.

It is odd that Chavo is the last one left especially since he has never been pushed to the mainevent, I don't think he has held a singles title other than the crusierweight and his main success in WWE was as a tag team with Eddie many years ago. He does seem like one that WWE will keep on until he wants to go. If they wanted to sack him they would have done it during the past couple of years.

Chavo's major single title. If you count it as a majors single title would be his ECW title that he won and defeated I believe CM Punk who was the champion at the time, so really that is his major success when it comes to titles. The only other successes that he has besides that is his feud with Rey and that is about it. Really in my opinion WWE dropped the ball on Chavo and they should have done more with him in terms of the mid card, I mean what really what I believed held him back is not only his size but his look as well. His look is not really a friendly look and as for size, well he is not like Mysterio who has had many matches with big men in the sport, and when Chavo does he gets squashed.

I like this concept and it is fun to look at some past WCW history. Never was a big fan of WCW, I do remember Chris Benoit winning the world title on one show against Brett Hart, but that is about it nothing else really attracted me.

I completely forgot about that ECW title win. I guess that seven second title loss to Kane at WrestleMania wiped it from my mind. It was a good title reign and was another example of ECW being used to pushed those midcarders that weren't quite getting over on other brands. I always thought that he should have won the IC or US title, there were times when it seemed like it would be the perfect time to put the title on him but they never did. In 07/08 shortly after his feud with Mysterio he faced Benoit for the US title but kept losing and that was the time he should have been given the title.

Agreed here I mean the whole tributing to Eddie was something Chavo should have gotten respected for. I mean if Rey got a push from it. I always though Chavo should have gotten a little love out of it as well.
