WrestleMania IV - Randy Savage vs. Ted DiBiase (Singles match for the vacant WWF Championship)
WrestleMania V - Hulk Hogan vs. Randy Savage (c) (Singles match for the WWF Championship)

WrestleMania VI - The Ultimate Warrior (Intercontinental Champion) vs. Hulk Hogan (WWF Champion) (Singles match for the WWF Intercontinental Championship and WWF Championship)

Which of these matches was your favourite WrestleMania mainevent?

I think you can make good cases for all three.

Dibiase and Savege as it was likely the best wrestling match of the three and had an exciting finish.

Hogan and Savage because of the whole revivally and storyline leading up it.

And Hogan and Warrior because while being the worse from a wrestling stand point, was just so massive at the time to have two top babyfaces and champion VS. Champion at Mania.

I went with Macho and Hogan, just because of the effort of Savage to get such a good match out of him. That has to be one of the best WM main events.

Me too actaully, I sort of remember all my friends being more of Hogan fans, so I went with Warrior just to be different!

Tough bracket to choose from. I was leaning towards Hogan vs Warrior since it was a huge match and the fact it was champion vs champion made it even better. But in the end I went with Hogan vs Savage, the whole storyline surrounding it just made it that much better.

I'm a sucker for those epic clashes. Went with Hogan vs. Warrior.

I think both the Savage and Warrior matches were great for what they were but hd to go with Hogan-Warrior for the epic feel of it when I was a kid. Hogan-Savage was by far the better rivalry but was it really a better match?

YES OF COURSE IT WAS! Again the appeal of the Warrior match was how epic it was, and it was nicely laid out, but it has aged really badly, and now just comes off as a sluggish, boring big man match. As a match the Macho one is much better.

Both matches were typical Hogan Brawls with little wrestling and the crowd was way more into the Warrior match. Savage did a great job making the first match a very solid match but I don't think it was better. I can see an argument though.

Yeah, sorry can't agree at all on this one, I just think Macho was such a good worker at that time that he carried Hogan to a good match, and don't forget it had a good feud also, and was a smash at the box office.
