You're missing the point, Montana. I'm not interested in living in mansions, staying in five star hotels, and eating caviar. If that's what I wanted, THEN I'd be "doing it for the money." I'm willing to sleep in my car because I can't afford a hotel, but hey, I have to at least make more money than it costs me in gasoline to get there, right? Then about four dollars a day for a couple of two-dollar meals at McDonalds (one burger and one small drink), and that's all I need, but twenty dollars? There's just no way.
Does anyone have any numbers on what refs make?
Do you got wax in your ears!
Trust me, you can't make a living not working, and being a indy manager ( TO START) . I know wrestlers/staff for like 5 indies here in det (1 in chi) Three of those, dont even pay the wrestlers! Yes, they are small indys, but thats where you start. IF they arent paying the wrestlers, they sure as hell aren't paying the manager. Genreally the manager is a friend of a wrestler. The one indy that does pay its westlers, it all depends on how much they make from a show. 20$ is a good takehome for that indy. THe one in CHicago is more like 35-40 is a good pot for a wrestler. Depending if there 1-2 referees, i'd say generally if its one ref, they make the same as wrestler. If two, it gets divided. But like i said, its all about the take home. And again, your not working 365. Some indy run shows once every two months.
Do you really think you can live off 20$ a day???? You sure hell aren't going to be working 7 days a week. So lets say you get lucky and get 3 bookings at 20$. THats 60$ you've made for the week. You got medical insurance? Car insurance? Cell Phone bill? Gas? 2 Dollar value meals a day? COme on, Don't be a jackass.
YOu keep asking the question, and i keep telling you the answer, you dont want to hear.
