The points system works that you have to defend the points that you won the previous year. Nadal if he wins doesn't have a change in points because he equaled the result of last year. Djokovic last year lost at the semi-final stage and so he will gain 480 points if he loses the final or 1280 if he wins the final. At the start of the tournament Djokovic was only 65 points behind Nadal so he goes clear ahead. The system is why Caroline Wozniacki is the women's world number one when she has only ever reached one Grand Slam final.

Murray will just have to wait his time. I have no doubt he will win a couple of grand slams in the coming years but at Wimbledon he just doesn't have a chance at the moment.

Two awesome semi-finals yesterday, the Murray-Nadal one was a bit of a classic, the atmosphere was a amazing and just some awesome Tennis back and forth and great movements.

I don't share you confidence about Murray Troy, yes he is a better player now than one year ago, and yes he is always going to be a strong player in this events, but I just think that he lacks that something special you need to go all the way, and I just think his temper and lack of focus gets in the way. I know he is still young, but I if he hasn't made those adjustments by now, I am not sure if he ever will.

Moving on to the final, Nadal is the strong favourite, but I did back Djorkovic from the start, and he is the form player, so I will stick with my pick. As for the Women's Maria winning seems a no-brainer, but I guess you just never know.

I am not sure if Murray will win Wimbledon but on the hardcourts I see him winning a couple. At Wimbledon there is that extra pressure on him whereas at something like the Australian or US Open he can be a bit more relaxed.

What a cracking performance today Petra Kvitova to defeat Sharapova in the final two sets to nothing. She totally outplayed her and fully deserved the win. IMO Maria has been under performing thoughout the tournment, but has just done enough to see off talent not on her level. But Kvitova on today's showing surely has a bright future, and how refreshing to see an upset in a major final, no matter who wins tomorrow in the mens, you won't be able to say the same there.

Kvivota had this in the bag from the beginning of the Match. I am stunned to say that but you could see from the outset after the match started that Sharapova was not going to be able to break Kvitova enough times to win. Dominating performance.

I didn't give Kvitova a chance and I was wrong. She was brilliant yesterday and her serve was excellent. Well done to her for winning her first Grand Slam.

Looking forward to tonights big final and I am going with Djokovic for the win.

Just like yesterday, the right player won the final. Nadal did make it interesting later in the game, but from the moment Djorkovic went two sets up, it was always hard to see a come back. Have to say not a great final though.

Well Djokovic finally gets the big one (I know it's his 3rd major but He seems to always come up short). He outplayed Nadal and that's saying a lot.

Djokovic on a roll to what is said to be the best start of the year in a Tennis career. Djokovic has the US Open next where I believe he'll continue his winning forms

Djokovic was excellent yesterday except for the third set but overall the result was never in doubt. He deserved that win and I wonder how long his form can continue. At the US Open he will be the favourite. He made the final last year and has won 2/3 of the Slams this year so far.
