Skip Sheffield, who has been out of action since breaking his ankle several months ago, announced he would be undergoing yet another surgery this Tuesday via his Twitter account.

"Will be having a third surgery this Tuesday and it will be the last," Sheffield wrote. "There are a lot of people who are far worse off and this is all happening for a good reason. I wish I was back right now and doing what I love, but things are not right and they have to be fixed. I will be 100 percent very soon and back on WWE TV and I thank all of you for your support. I have kept my head held high and I cannot thank WWE enough for their support in this time. I have worked too hard too long to just give up and while it has been difficult it has only made me a stronger better person so please be patient and I will be back I promise."

Can't catch a break at the moment.

Hopefully when he is fully fit he is back on WWE tv right away and is given a good storyline to come back to.

I saw this on twitter actually as he was posting it the other day. I'm pretty bummed about it. The guy is a beast and oddly, has good charisma for his size. Can't wait for Skippy to get back on WWE TV.

The man is one positive mofo is all I can say.

I hope he returns to WWE, because I did think he looked like a monster ready to kill someone. He did have charisma and made a shit gimmick on NXT almost work. Thats talent.

Damn, I'm actually looking forward to this guy coming back. Hopefully it's not to long of a set back and he's back in good health soon.

If he comes back without the cowboy gimmick I will be happy. Book him as a monster face in short matches and that will be good.

I wouldn't mind seeing him come back dessimate the nexus on Raw then head to Smackdown and do the samething with The Corre. They need to eliminate those stables they had something good in the original nexus and they screwed it up they did what they always do and used it to put Cena over then they thought they'd milk it more and put it on both brands watering it down a helluva lot. Even now with CM punk as the leader he isn't the leader of Nexus he's CM Punk with minions (again)

If The Corre are still around in a couple of months time I will be shocked. The Corre surely is over now or if not within a couple of weeks. Nexus can survive a bit longer but it seems to be nearing the end as well. Sheffield taking out Nexus would be a good way to bring him back to RAW and would be a good first storyline.

It would be pretty damn cool to see him come back and destroy the Nexus. Have Punk look scared, and then have a Mason Ryan-Skip feud which leads into a Skip-Punk feud to get him over a little bit.

Mason vs. Skip is definitely something I see WWE booking. Skip as the monster face Mason as the monster heel. I don't think it would be pretty to watch but it will happen. It will be similar to the feud Batista had early in his career with Kane.

Mason has a long way to go before I'd want to see that match! Actually....Mason has a long way to go before I want to see him in any match.

I think Skip Sheffield would likely be back after CM Punk takes his leave, due to all signs apparently pointing towards him wanting to go.

I wouldn't mind if the Nexus were wondering who could lead them, then Sheffield comes along and wants to end it before it continues on any longer. Something along the lines of "it's embarrassing to watch what it has come to", idk.

Either way, it's great to read that many people have high hopes for him. Been waiting so long for him to come back, so hopefully it's soon.

I said that it wouldn't be pretty but I am sure WWE want to book that match.

Honestly if CM Punk goes they need to end Nexus. If they had been pushed consistently as a threat then it would be good to continue it but it has been so up and down and twice they have been buried by one wrestler, Cena and Orton.

And that is why WWE is struggling at the moment. They have put all their eggs in two baskets and have constantly stopped big pushes and dropped wrestlers back down the card.
