- TNA is reportedly planning on cutting several talents soon from the roster. Officials have been evaluating what’s working and what’s not working, trying to determine which talents aren’t fitting in. No word yet on when the cuts will be made but some wrestlers have apparently been told to sit tight while the necessary cuts are made.

This should have occured some time ago. TNA have too many wrestlers for the amount of airtime they have. They only have the two hours for IMPACT Wrestling plus Xplosion so they don't need the number of wrestlers they have. I looked at their roster and they have at least fifty wrestlers on there.

What is interesting here is that ROH now have a telelvision deal and are under new ownership so some of these undercard wrestlers might be able to get a deal with ROH if TNA let them go.

So the question is if you were TNA who would you release?

Chris Sabin. Hate to say it, but the dude is dead weight right now. Hes gonna be out for about a year. I know cutting him under injury would be a dick thing to do, but I can see it happening.

Tommy Dreamer - Just give it up man.

Jesse Neal - Does this guy actually bring anything in?

Shannon Morre - Read above.

Brother Devon - Worthless without Ray.

Daniels - His already working for RoH as well.

Douglass Williams - Who?

Orlando Jordan - No use.

Brain Kendrick - Holding him down, to be honest.

Amazing Red - See above.

Alex Shelly - Just cause I wanna see him in RoH or WWE haha.

Anyways, those are my thoughts and I don't even watch TNA, so don't jump on me too bad if I got some bad calls.

I don't agree with you about Williams, this guy has been a major talent for years, but TNA has just used him as just another guy in the suffle. And there are too many X-Division guys there, for me that is a league which can still suceed given the time and effort, but most of those I would agree with.

I like your list Tapout and it seems quite reasonable that they could be released.

My list would be:

Amazing Red
Brian Kendrick
Devon
Cookie
Daniels
Desmond Wolfe
Jesse Neal
Karen Jarrett
Ms. Tessmacher
ODB
Orlando Jordan
Rob Terry
Robbie E
Scott Steiner
Shannon Moore
Tommy Dreamer

I also think that Samoa Joe should ask for his release. He is going nowhere in TNA and they dropped the ball on him. He can go work for ROH and even try to get into WWE.

Dreamers gone
Wolfe if he can't wrestle will be gone when his contract is up
Magnus could go if they aren't going to keep the British Invasion
Cookie and Robbie E can go
It makes me sad because he is a good hand but Devon could go, they would keep him behind the scenes though
Orlando Jordan is useless
Rob Terry sucks
Shannon Moore will never get over
Chris Harris if he was actually hired
Matt Hardy won't get cut but should
Jeff Hardy enough is enough
That's a start other names listed all make sense but they are all at least solid hands.

Amazing Red - The past year he has just been used to bring in Crimson and got put under a mask
Devon - Can't cut it has a singles competitor
Chris Sabin - Just the fact he won't be bringing much to company because of injury
Murphy - No charisma, Moderate wrestling ability
Orlando Jordan - Hardly ever on tv and his 'gimmick' isn't over
Gen Me - Not over atall, Not their fault due to bad booking and they were packaged terribly
Tara - Getting old, She has nothing to do after the Madison fued...If thats even coming together
