TNA Wrestling executive and personality Eric Bischoff stated on his Facebook account last night that he arrived in New York City for meetings this weekend.

He wrote, "Just arrived in NYC for meetings over the weekend. Some pretty exciting stuff happening. Going to try and get in a 3 mile run before my first meeting tonight and try out this new pair of NIKE Frees! I have been wanting to try."

One of his meetings included an encounter with Bill Goldberg.

The former WCW World Heavyweight Champion posted a video on his Twitter account this morning of himself and Bischoff flying above New York City in a helicopter.

Regarding the video post, he wrote, "The last tweet was a sign of the end of the world...."

I really can't see this happening whilst Hogan is working for TNA. I remember reading that Goldberg did want to wrestle again simply so his kids could see him wrestle live. Unless TNA throw a huge amount of money at him it won't happen. He might be able to pop one buyrate if TNA save his match for PPV and don't give it away for free on television.

Goldberg would definitely bring in some interest, familiar faces do generate TNA some buzz, it's just the ADHD nature of TNA that loses the interest.

Goldberg would join TNA if the money is right, if he gets a Sting type deal, or just a big payday for a few days work, he'll make some appearances. Just wonder what kind of headspace he is at these days. Would be interesting to read the dirtsheets to see the obligatory stories of Goldberg having heat for no particiualr reason, other than it made a good story.

I can also see this happening, and think it is a dreadful idea which would benefit no one besides Goldberg maybe.
