Jason “Mayhem†Miller‘s manager Ryan Parsons has confirmed to MMAFighting, that the middleweight has signed a contract with the UFC.
According to the report, Miller was essentially a free agent after finishing his deal with Strikeforce earlier this year.
Miller has not fought since scoring an arm-triangle choke submission over MMA legend Kazushi Sakuraba at Dream 16. The colorful fighter also holds victories over Tim Kennedy, Robbie Lawler and Denis Kang.
“Mayhem†previously fought in the UFC only once. He took on current UFC welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre at UFC 52 and was thoroughly dominated. However, he was able to draw the admiration of the crowd with his ability to take punishment.
Despite fighting since 2001, “Mayhem†is probably better known as the host of MTV’s “Bully Beatdown.â€
