WWE RAW Live Discussion Thread 18th April 2011

There are only two more RAWs until the Extreme Rules PPV so WWE need to firstly add some more matches on this show but they also need to build R-Truth. He needs to be seen as a credible contender so this week and next week he needs strong wins.

Hopefully we see a Sin Cara match again and I wouldn't be surprised if he is added to the PPV.

Another Awesome Kong promo should air.

I won't be online tomorrow when RAW is on live but hopefully some WS members are online and watching RAW. WS member Prodigy is going to be there live so he might be able to give us some live thoughts from the show when he gets back.

I hate it when they are overseas and have to tape Raw and Smackdown.

I avoided spoilers as much as possible. So I am looking forward to this Raw it should be a good show, and I can not wait to see what happens as they build up to extreme rules.

So Raw kicks off with R-Truth coming out and he is talking about how he has had problems, but he is the truth. He is talking about how he is going to be the WWE champion, and he is going to be most fighting champion in the WWE. Decent promo by him and right now John Morrison is coming out here right now.

 

[Chase]

So John Morrison comes out and he questions R-Truth's shape. They bring up R-Truth smoking cigerrates, and R-Truth figures out John is trying to challenging him for his number one contender spot. This segment is very terrible not going to lie, both guys just sound like they are talking to each other casually but in front of a lot of people. Now R-Truth is facing John Morrison should be interesting.

Nice little bit where they add showing R-Truth getting water in between. Now during the match Truth is getting water. What is this?

Horrible opening segment

Morrison wins in a ** match, and now Morrison in in the main event instead of R-Truth. I think WWE found out many were not happy with the choice of Truth in the match, and decided on Morrison, both men work with me in the situation, mainly because they are going to be the fall guy.

R-truth attacks after the match and looks to be a heel turn. It seems obvious Truth will get involved somehow in the WWE title match. I do not know but R-Truth is attacking Morrison.

So now R-Truth continued on his insult and now he is just smoking some cigs at ringside. That is kind of weird especially for WWE being Pg and all, then again if Stone Cold can drink beers what says R-Truth can't smoke. Nice way to turn him heel, and make him look like a bad guy. Hope they go somewhere with this R-Truth heel turn.

So Raw came back on and Evan Bourne is in the ring, Vickie comes out and introduces Nicky from the spirit squad... no jokes it is Dolph with no longer the bleach blonde hair but his natural hair color shorter, like when he wore when he was apart of the spirit squad should be a good match.

 

[Chase]

So the match is over and it was basically to produce Dolph. Evan did what he could do, and did his usual missed the shooting star press spot, so the match gets *.

 

[Big Red Jericho Punk]

Yeah opening segment wasn't great, but how about finally a change. It wasn't all damn John Cena or Miz, it's good that their is a change. It's also a very good thing that R-Truth is not in the title match, yes Morrison was a jerk backstage and I lost respect for him but the guy can put on a show. I am skeptical about R-Truth going heel but after seeing him smoke that cig, I found it funny and it could go somewhere.... one last note I like the new hair Dolph.

They showed a nice Edge tribute. Great one right there I liked it, and now the Miz is coming out here. Interested what he has to say here. Hopefully it is something big.

So the Miz comes out and he complains on how his match is now a steel cage match against John Morrison and Cena at Extreme Rules. He does not like the ruling what so ever so he is going to sit in the middle of the ring until the GM changes it.

On a side note, the commentary has been rather crap this show.
