Ring of Honor announced the following:

FOUR NEW SIGNINGS

ROH officials are happy to announce that several talents have re-signed contracts and one man has signed on the dotted line for the first time!

Rhett Titus, coming off a bloody brawl at “Honor Takes Center Stage: Chapter 2â€￾ against The Briscoes, has officially re-signed with Ring of Honor. A graduate of the ROH Wrestling Academy, Titus has truly broken out in the last year as a singles competitor with impressive outings against Jay Briscoe & Homicide, among others, as well as in the tag team ranks alongside All Night Express partner, Kenny King. They nearly captured the ROH World Tag Titles when The ANX took The Kings of Wrestling to the limit at the “9th Anniversary Showâ€￾ and have now become embroiled in a heated rivalry with Jay & Mark Briscoe that saw much blood spilt in Atlanta last weekend. ROH is happy to have this talented young athlete officially on board, and we can also announce that both he and Kenny King will be in action when ROH returns to Dearborn & Toronto in May!

Bobby Cruise, the Voice of ROH, and Senior Official Todd Sinclair have also re-signed with Ring of Honor for the foreseeable future. For years the distinctive voice of Bobby Cruise has welcomed fans to ROH live events and introduced many a talent to the live audience. Todd Sinclair has officiated for ROH for many years as well, establishing himself as one of the best in the process, and earning the position of Senior Official. ROH would not be the same without either of these men and we are ecstatic that they will remain with Ring of Honor.
And for the first time, the powerhouse of The House Of Truth, Michael Elgin has signed a contract with Ring of Honor. Making his debut with the HoT back in November of last year, Elgin has truly established himself as a force with impressive showings against Christopher Daniels, Eddie Edwards, and El Generico just to name a few. Elgin’s combination of power & speed is sure to make him a force in the years to come here in Ring of Honor and we are excited to see what the future has in store for Michael Elgin. We can also announce that Elgin with join previously announced HoT members Christopher Daniels & Truth Martini in Dearborn & Toronto on May 6th & 7th.

Good to see ROH securing these names for the future. ROH has constantly lost a stream of talent to both WWE and TNA and it is good to see them locking in names like this.

Well I think the Cruise one epsically is a good thing, because he has such a unique voice, and is just thought of as such a big part of the company's history. And Titus also, because the All Night Express are a very impressive team, who at some point will be line for the tag titles, so it is important to keep them together.

I've read (cbf finding it atm) that ROH is signing more wrestlers to contracts so the company has more appeal to big networks. This is a great idea, and hopefully a step towards a real TV deal.

Makes sense since to convince a network to give them a weekly timeslot I assume the network would want to see a roster that is locked in for the future so that the other companies can't poach the name talent. If they can lock in some more notable names that a network executive might recognise it would help their efforts. Shame that Daniels is working for TNA again since a ROH exclusive Daniels would have been a draw for the networks. IF they can sign WGTT for a 12 month contract it would be good.
